Getting Started

How long do rounds last? What happens after a round ends?

Rounds last approximately 35 days. After each round ends, all players' armies are reset to starting values. You keep your achievements, profile settings, and messages.

The round system gives new players a fair chance to compete and win prizes. Top 10 players in each category receive premium credit rewards!

I'm a new player - where should I start?

Complete the tutorial! Click the "?" icon in the header for a guided 11-step tour.

Then: Buy tools → Train workers → Complete missions → Join a platoon. Always keep your money banked when not purchasing!

Which faction should I choose?

Special Forces: +10-16% Offense (aggressive attackers)

Military: +10-16% Defense (defensive fortresses)

Terrorists: +10-16% Income (economic powerhouses)

Choose based on your playstyle! You can change later, but it costs money.

Game Mechanics

What are turns? How do I get them?

Turns are the main resource for actions in Modern Conflict. You need turns to attack, complete missions, recruit, and exploit.

Free accounts get 20 turns every 10 minutes. VIP accounts get up to 50 turns per tick and can hold more at once (2,000-5,000 max).

How do offense and defense scores work?

When attacking, your offense score battles the defender's defense score. If your offense is higher, you win!

Increase offense: Buy weapons and vehicles, train offensive soldiers

Increase defense: Buy armor and vehicles, train defensive soldiers, upgrade your base

What is Retaliation?

When someone damages you with an attack, you get retaliation rights for 12 hours!

Retaliation attacks get a +30% offensive bonus and don't grant the enemy retaliation back. For every damage attack you lose, you get one free retaliation strike!

Example: If someone attacks you 20 times, you can retaliate 20 times with +30% offense and they can't hit you back for those 20 attacks.

How does the bank work?

The bank protects your money from theft. Money in the bank is 100% safe and earns interest every 10 minutes!

Bank capacity: Upgradeable (Bank Level × $60,000,000)

Interest rate: 3% daily (free) or up to 11% daily (VIP)

Transaction limits: Limited daily deposits/withdrawals (VIP get 4× more)

Combat & Attacking

I keep getting attacked constantly - what can I do?

It's a war game, but there are protections! Each player can only hit you 75 times per 12 hours (for damage attacks).

Tips to reduce attacks:

  • Join a platoon for +10% defense bonus
  • Always bank your money (can't be stolen from bank)
  • Upgrade your defense and base level
  • Message the attacker and ask them to stop
  • Use your retaliation rights to hit them back with +30% offense!

I attacked someone and lost - why?

Your offense score must be higher than their defense score to win.

Tips: Always spy on targets first to check their defense. Attack players at your level or weaker. Increase your offense by buying weapons and vehicles.

What's the difference between attack types?

Damage Assault: Destroys equipment, lowers net worth. Grants victim retaliation rights.

Cash Theft: Steals 10-15% of cash. Minimal damage, no retaliation.

Power Strike: Maximum XP gain. Minimal cash/damage, no retaliation.

What is spy and what does it do?

Spying reveals another player's stats: army level, offense, defense, cash on hand, and net worth.

Cost: 2% of their net worth (can be expensive for high-level players)

Tip: Always spy before attacking to avoid wasting turns on battles you can't win!

Platoons & Social

What is a Platoon and how do I join one?

A platoon is a group of up to 10 players who team up for mutual benefits:

  • +10% Offense bonus from platoon's total offense
  • +10% Defense bonus from platoon's total defense
  • +10% Net worth bonus from platoon bank
  • Protection from other members (can't attack each other)
  • Access to platoon equipment that can't be destroyed

To join: Go to Platoon → Apply, browse available platoons, and send a request to the leader.

What is Platoon Armor?

Platoon equipment (armor and weapons) is purchased by the platoon leader using the platoon bank. This equipment:

  • Cannot be destroyed in combat
  • Doesn't require soldiers to use
  • Gives 10% of its bonuses to ALL members
  • Stays with the platoon even if members leave

I received unwanted messages - what can I do?

If someone is harassing or abusing you, go to Messages → Filters and block their messages.

You can also mute players in chat to prevent them from messaging you. If harassment continues, submit a support ticket.

Resources & Economy

What are Mercenaries?

The Mercenary Market lets you buy and sell trained units with other players.

Selling: Get 50% of buy price instantly

Buying: $3,500 per soldier/worker/operator, $2,000 per recruit

Supply: Limited to what other players sell - check frequently!

What benefit do I get from Exploiting?

Exploiting converts turns into instant cash or XP. It's the fastest but least efficient method.

Warning: Your recruits may desert after exploiting! Use it only when you need quick cash or are about to hit turn cap.

What is a referral and how do I get some?

Share your unique referral link to invite new players. When they reach certain milestones, you get rewards:

  • Level 5: $10M + 1,000 recruits
  • Level 50: $100M + 1,000 recruits
  • Level 100: $100M + 1,000 recruits
  • VIP Subscriber: $1M + 500 recruits DAILY while active!

Note: Don't post referral links in forums - it may result in suspension.

How is net worth calculated?

Your net worth is the total value of everything in your army:

  • All equipment (armor, weapons, tools, vehicles, aircraft)
  • All trained units (soldiers, workers, operators)
  • Building upgrades (50% of construction cost)
  • Cash on hand and in bank
  • +10% of platoon bank (if in platoon)
  • +10% of platoon equipment value

Account & VIP

What is a VIP/Supporter? What benefits do they get?

VIP subscribers support the game and get these benefits:

  • More turns per tick (30-50 vs 20 for free)
  • Higher turn capacity (3,000-5,000 vs 2,000)
  • Better faction bonuses (+12-16% vs +10%)
  • Higher bank interest rates (5-11% vs 3%)
  • More bank transactions per day (4× more)
  • Faster building construction
  • Special "S" badge after name (if enabled)

Can I get free turns or resources from staff?

No. Staff will NOT give free turns, money, or resources unless you were directly affected by a confirmed bug or glitch.

Asking staff for free resources may result in account suspension or termination. Please don't waste their time.

Can I have multiple accounts?

NO. Under no circumstances are you allowed to have more than one account per household/network/person.

This applies even if you have multiple family members or devices. Your account may be suspended or terminated without warning if found to have multiple accounts.

I lost my password - what can I do?

On the home page, click "Forgot Password" and follow the instructions. A reset link will be sent to your registered email address.

Make sure to check your spam folder if you don't see the email!

How do I change my email, name, or avatar?

Go to Account Settings (click your name in the header) to edit your profile, upload avatars, change your display name, update email, and write a personal quote.

Technical & Support

What is bot check?

Bot checks (CAPTCHA) verify you're human and prevent automated scripts or bots from playing unfairly.

They appear after many consecutive actions (like 20+ missions). Yes, they can be annoying, but they're necessary to stop cheaters and keep the game fair!

I found a bug - where do I report it?

Submit a support ticket with a detailed description:

  • What page/feature has the bug
  • Steps to reproduce it
  • What you expected to happen vs what actually happened
  • Screenshots if possible

Detailed reports help us fix bugs faster!

I think I found a multi-account - what do I do?

Submit a support ticket with:

  • Usernames of suspected accounts
  • Evidence (similar patterns, transactions between accounts, etc.)
  • Any relevant combat logs or interactions

Staff will investigate and take appropriate action.

My account is banned or suspended - what now?

Suspended: Temporary penalty (usually for chat flooding, harassment, or rule violations). Duration is shown when you try to login.

Banned: Permanent termination. Bans are final and non-negotiable as outlined in the Terms of Service.

If you believe a mistake was made, submit a support ticket explaining your situation. Staff will review it.
